I'm a Sydney-based illustrator and primary school teacher with a lifelong passion for drawing. Creativity has always come naturally to me, and over the years, my work has grown into a diverse portfolio that includes children’s books, educational resources, and commercial art.

My illustrations have been published in a number of books, including Granbad with UQP, the Maxi the Lifeguard series with Affirm Press, and the TC series with Scholastic. Beyond books, my work spans posters, comic strips, character designs, pamphlets, logos, and educational materials for clients such as Little Fox Inc., The Australian Museum, Educational Assessment Australia, and the New South Wales Department of Education.

Before diving into illustration full-time, I started my career in the sciences, working in wildlife conservation education at The Australian Museum and Taronga Zoo. These experiences gave me a deep connection to the natural world, which continues to inspire my art and fuel my commitment to environmental conservation.

In 2019, my book Maxi the Lifeguard: The Stormy Protest won The Wilderness Society Environment Award for Children’s Literature—an achievement that reflects the powerful combination of storytelling and my passion for the environment.

As a teacher, I’ve spent a lot of time working in classrooms and school libraries. That hands-on experience has shown me just how transformative visual storytelling can be for young audiences, and it’s something I strive to bring to every project I take on.
